...  Made By famouse C.E.kempe ... This Antique Victorian C1884 St Mary Magdalene stained glass paperweight by C.E. Kempe is a beautiful piece of religious-themed art glass from England. Handmade in the Victorian era, by the said famous artist the particular piece must have been auctioned off by the churches charity or the church self’s . Commissioned by Kempe a very famous artist . From research I’ve done he did visit the church and there is record of him being there this can all be found online . Unusual item to find in a paperweight form as he usual does full windows / big pieces . very rare indeed.
